Neander Passes Inspection

30. Juni 2008

FINALLY! Now, it’s official. The Neander production models are street-legal. After making some discouraging changes called “putting impertinent technology on the public roadways” (and not a few abortive attempts at bribing TÜV officials), the Neander has the Technical Inspection Agency Seal of Approval and its final design can go into production. Not only that, it may drive our roads without fearing tickets. Our attempts at explaining the special privileges of the Neander driver (the Right Before Left and Prohibition Against Passing On The Right rules) were unfortunately blocked.

The innovative forks, the formidable wheelbase and the buckle-resistant chassis have convinced even the most skeptical official. As far as chassis behavior and handling are concerned, the chassis cannot be improved. It got the highest praise from all regulatory corners.

Chairman of the Board Lester was not satisfied with this and, taking the wheel to show off the machine at the Federal Diet’s annual motorcycle tour, was permitted to prove the motorcycle’s reliability on long hauls. Our work on the ergonomic aspects over the last few months was well covered by his backside, in the end. The comfortableness of the seat and the handling received top honors from him. If the last Dietary increase would have been more, Mr. Lester could have probably conveyed one or two models to the prominent man during the one-week tour.

We persist in our thankful humility to the Gods of Technology, and tentatively prepare for the summer break by oiling our assembly lines for autumn.
Let´s diesel!!
